Who are we:
We are Darren and Misti Carlton and we’re in the memory business! We have two photography studios. One is located in Prim and the other in Conway. We service the North Central Arkansas area and specialize in babies, children and their families. Join our studio family for an awesome experience, stunning imagery and exceptional products. You’re gonna love working with us – we guarantee it!

Your Session:
We are an appointment-only studio which means that we are completely focused on you when you are with us. Sessions for babies and families are always in-studio, for children 3 years and older we now offer both in-studio and on location photography. Feel free to plan your session with us or bring anything that you would like to include so you can personalize your session however you like.
We always encourage you to personalize your session however you would like and share with us any needs or desires you have. In particular please do share with us beforehand any concerns that you may have – for instance it’s helpful to know if a child is especially shy, has special needs or reacts well (or not so well) to certain stimuli.
Our approach is always open and relaxed. We will spend time with you and your child because connecting with you is the surest way to awesome images.

Viewing and Ordering:
Viewing of your images is done in-studio in our awesome multimedia room using projection and the latest and greatest software to help you select your very favorite photos. We will schedule your viewing appointment immediately following your photo session, usually the following week. Generally, allow 1 1/2 hours for your first viewing, 1 hour for subsequent viewings.
Also immediately following your photo session we will provide you with our detailed pricing guide so that you can review it your convenience before returning for your viewing. See our Investment Guide for general pricing information and pricepoints.
Darren will manage your viewing. He is incredibly patient, knowledgeable and helpful and he will assist you in determining your favorite images and the package that is right for you. We may offer you alternatives but we will never try to force you into a package that you do not want. We do expect that you will make decisions at the viewing regarding your images and your investment so please be sure to bring any and all individuals who need to participate in these decisions.
Delivery:
Turnaround time on most orders is approximately 3-4 weeks from the date the order is placed and finalized. Faster turnaround can be provided on certain products – let us know if you have a looming deadline! Approved artbooks, club albums and canvas wall portraits are in the 4-6 week timeframe.
We are available for pickup by appointment only. Orders placed in our Prim studio from clients who live in the Batesville area, we do deliver to Salon Essentials every Friday for you to get your orders there to make it easier on you. All products except albums and wall pieces may be shipped at your convenience (we package appropriately to ensure safe delivery); we can provide you with shipping and handling fees if you are interested.
Payment:
For payment, we accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
We also provide INTEREST-FREE PAYMENT PLANS for most packages and can work with you to select a plan that will best fit your budget. This is not a lay-away – you may take your pictures home and enjoy them while comfortably paying for them over time.
